John Hallett is an experienced Kent stonemason based in Hawkhurst, with over 30 years’ experience in ornamental stone restoration, architectural stonework, and stone repair services. Our offerings include reconstituted stone repair, mould making, sandstone and lime mortar work, York stone paving, balustrades, and the restoration of Grade II listed buildings. Serving clients throughout Kent and East Sussex, we provide skilled craftsmanship, expert advice, and high-quality, long-lasting results.

John has worked alone for most of his professional career until a few years ago when he had the pleasure of his son Terry joining him. Terry Hallett of R & T Home Improvements is an experienced Kent stonemason based in Tunbridge Wells, who shares his father's passion for stone and also specializes in ornamental stone restoration and fiberglassing. John's second son, Andy Hallett, contributes to the business with his gardening skills and laboring, making J H Builders a well-rounded family business known for its reliable stone repair services.
