Another Grade II listed property, where the wall had been consumed by wisteria and started to fall apart. J H BUILDERS were called to perform plaque restoration, remove the foliage, and restore the stonework of the wall, including the intricate temple work.

J H BUILDERS undertook the plaque restoration, carefully rebuilding and re-crafting any missing areas to prepare for a new mould, showcasing their expertise in stonework and temple work.

J H Builders has recreated a new mould for this plaque restoration, and here you can see it ready to be packed by hand to create a new reconstituted stone one, showcasing our expertise in stonework and temple work.

The new plaque restoration was mounted in place alongside the repairs and repointing of the original sandstone wall. J H Builders also undertook the stonework for the repairs, replacing the head and base rails, as well as the balustrade. For any base and head rails that needed replacing, they created new moulds and generated new pieces of stone, ensuring the integrity of the temple work.
